Terms of Service

By using janra.art in any way — browsing, creating an account, or placing an order — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

janra.art is operated by Hakan Bıyıklıoğlu, as an individual seller in Turkey — not a registered company. You can reach us at privacy@janra.art.

"We", "us", and "the Seller" in these Terms all refer to that same person; "you" refers to anyone using the site.

You need an account, signed in through Google, to buy anything. You're responsible for keeping that Google account secure — we never see or store your Google password.

One account per person. The name, phone number, and addresses attached to your account should be genuinely yours.

We can suspend or close an account that's used to abuse the site, attempt fraud, or break these Terms.

You may browse, create an account, and place orders for your own personal use. That's it — no scraping or automated bulk-downloading of catalog data or images, no reverse engineering, and no reselling access to the site itself.

Don't attempt to interfere with the site's security, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or overload it.

Buying a print means buying that one physical, numbered object — not the copyright in the artwork, and not any right to reproduce, print, or resell copies of the image itself. The artist keeps that copyright unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Everything else on the site — the janra.art name and logo, the site's design, text, and code — belongs to us or our licensors. Don't copy or reuse it without permission.

Placing and paying for an order is governed by the Distance Sales Agreement and Pre-Contract Information Form shown to you at checkout, not by this page — see those for pricing, delivery, withdrawal rights, and returns.

Prices, availability, and edition counts can change at any time before you complete a purchase.

Every artwork's page shows who owns each numbered edition — under your full name, initials, or anonymously, whichever you chose at the time of purchase. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on this.

—Placing fraudulent orders, or disputing a legitimate charge in bad faith.

—Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your affiliation with anyone.

—Uploading or transmitting anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful through the site.

—Using the site in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair it.

The site is provided "as is". We work to keep listings, photos, and prices accurate, but a printed piece can vary slightly from its on-screen photo — color, framing, and finish are described as closely as we reasonably can, not guaranteed pixel-for-pixel.

To the extent Turkish law allows, our liability to you for anything related to the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you actually paid for the order in question. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under Turkish consumer protection law.

The site relies on outside providers — Google for sign-in, Twilio for phone verification, Microsoft Azure and Vercel for hosting, and iyzico for payment processing. Each has its own terms and privacy practices; see our Privacy Policy for how we use them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

Disputes arising from a specific purchase are resolved as described in the Distance Sales Agreement — before the Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Court with jurisdiction over the Buyer's residence, within the monetary limits set annually by the Ministry of Trade. Any other dispute about the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of İstanbul, Turkey.

We may update these Terms as the site changes. We'll update the date at the top when we do, and flag any significant change the next time you sign in.
